Welcome to Cheshire, a county of beauty and contrasts. From idyllic rural locations to splendid historic towns, Cheshire has the perfect setting for your Wedding Day.

There are over one hundred licensed venues in Cheshire where you can have a marriage ceremony. The wide range of venues (known as “Approved Premises”) ensures that you will be able to find a venue to suit your individual taste.

Alternatively, you may choose to get married in one of the County’s four attractively furnished marriage rooms.

Our Marriage Ceremony pages include information on how to choose a venue, give notice of marriage and book your ceremony.  Fees are shown on our marriage fees page and you may wish to view local wedding services.

Whether you are planning a small, intimate ceremony or a grand occasion, our professional and dedicated registrars can help create a ceremony of the highest standard, that will leave you with memories to treasure for a lifetime.

Please contact us if you have any queries about getting married.

"All staff and registrars we have dealt with have been very helpful and friendly and are making wedding planning easy."   Mrs Smart of Surrey
